Indeed - a deed
Rhett and I are now officially landed. We hold a deed. We finally own a piece of the pie. We have .8 acres of land on which to begin building our American Dream. First thing is we'll be sure to nail several metallic "NO TRESPASSSING" signs to our trees. Should I go for "TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED" OR "UNAUTHORIZED PERSONS PROHIBITED?" You see, we can do that now. Since we are property owners. Although I guess the homeowner's association might not be too keen on that. Technically, however, we are not yet homeowners. We are owners of LAND - the perenial dream. We own some lovely old oaks, some big rocks, and a lot of dirt. I feel as if we should harness the mules, throw some pots into a knapsack, and toss the kids into the Honda Odyssey, riding the back country roads (sadly, for this situation, paved) until we finally reach our LAND.
